Hand Bell Choirs: Parkland Bells is the hand bell music ministry of St. Andrew’s United Church. Two hand bell choirs comprise Parkland Bells;
- The Rejoice Choir which offers beginner through intermediate hand bell ringing experience and
- The Praise Choir who ring more advanced hand bell arrangements. This ecumenical group of ringers play in services at St. Andrew’s as well as various venues throughout Parkland County and beyond. Outreach is a priority for the hand bell music ministry and two concerts for the community are held each year. In mid-December, “Carols and Bells” offers a Christmas repertoire through the unique expression of English hand bells. The annual “Spring Praise” concert and dessert evening is held on the Mother’s Day weekend and offers a wide variety of music together with a delicious dessert and refreshments.
All are welcome to attend. Please contact the Church Office for further details.
